227 TUESDAY SEPTRiBEjL-, Board met at regular session at 10:00 A. M. All members present. ,—Bids opened for the Grade Curb and Walk improvemeht on W. S€ ple Street. Same referred to the -engineer for tabluation. Permission granted to set and m0v4 poles to the Central Union Telephone Co., as follows: Set three 25ft. poles in the alley between Clover St. and Thrush St south of Hildreth St. Approved.. Move one pole at ...lQl9 E. Colfax Ave., to the West side of A !ley between Eddy and Franes St's and the nol-th side of alley between Colfax and Iia Salle Ave. Approved.. On Division Street Went from Olive St. ?replace two 30ft. poles with 40ft poles it two 25 f t. " " 35f_ t " If Your 30ft. " If 35ft. " one 20ft. n n 30 n These poles to be used jointly with the Indiana & Michigan Electric Co. These poles to be kept inside .of. tie curb. ,-Set six poles on Vernon St. South from Calvert St. to 1431 E. Donald. Set two 30ft. poles and move one 30f't. pole in alley between Keasey and Elder St. west of Carroll St. approved Board ordered light placed on the corner of Wilbur and Elwood Ave. Also light placed at the crossi F of the Michigan Central Tracks on E. Washington Ave. and Emerick Street. Clerk ordered to advertise for bids for the Welsbach system of gas lighting for the streets of River Park. Deed of the track of lend received. by the board from the Vassar Realty Company, _same de-cribed as follows: A tract of land bounded by a line running as follows:,to-wit: Beginning at the North West corner of Lot Number One unfired °orty-nine(149) in Mussell's Second. Addition to the City of ;south Bend., T thane,; thence West in line with the south line of Vassar Avrnue if extended West to the East line of Wilber Street; thence north flog the said East line of Wilber Street _'ifty(50) feet to a point in line with the North line of Vassar Avenue if extended West; thence East to A point -opposite the North West corner of Lot 149 in Russell's Second Addition; thence South fif'ty(50) feet to the place of beginning.
