RESOLUTION NO. 252 <br />RESOLUTION OF THE REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION, GOVERNING BODY OF THE <br />CITY OF SOUTH BEND, DEPARTMENT OF REDEVELOPMENT GIVING ASSURANCE <br />OF NON - DISCRIMINATION IN CONNECTION WITH NON -CASH LOCAL GRANT-IN- <br />AID BEING FURNISHED FOR PROJECT, IND. R -57 <br />The Redevelopment Commission, Governing Body of the City of South Bend, <br />Departm nt of Redevelopment, herein called the" " Donor" recognizes that Title <br />VI of tie Civil Rights Act of 1964 and the regulations and policies of the <br />Departm nt of Housing and Urban Development effectuating the Title prohibits <br />discrim nation on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in the policies <br />and pra tices of any public facility, educational institution, or hospital <br />respons ble for proposed credit to the locality's share of the cost of an <br />urban r newal project receiving financial assistance from the United States. <br />The Red velopment Commission, Governing Body of the City of South Bend, <br />Depart nt of Redevelopment hereby assures the United States and the Department <br />of Housing and Urban Development that the: <br />Land Donation, Parcel 14 -2 <br />Land Donation, Parcel 27 -1 <br />Land Donation, Parcel 32 -13 <br />will be available to and serve all persons without regard to race, color, or <br />nation 4l origin. <br />Adopted at the regular meeting of the Redevelopment Commission held in <br />the office of the Commission, 120 West LaS ie Avenue, Suite 1001, South Bend, <br />Indiana 46601, on February 6, 1969. <br />Donald A.
