Ii4PR0VF_1ME`'1T RESOLUTION '`'0.105. <br />Resolved, by the Board of Public Works of the City of South Bend,Indiana,that <br />it -is desired and deemed necessary to make the following; described public improvement <br />in the aforesaid -City as authorized by the following numbered Improvement r.esolut6on <br />adopted by said Board on 15th, day of August 1911. <br />Resolved,that an improvement be made of the ki.nd,size, loci&tion and terminal points <br />asfollows; Walnut Street .from. Colfax Avenue to LaPorte Avennua by grading; and <br />paving the roadway al o the grading and paving the roadway of intersecting ad entering <br />streets and alleys lying within said portion of walnut street not included in the <br />roadway to be inproved,with Aspholt,Bitulithie, Brie] or Creosoted Wooden Block. <br />laid on a five (5) inch portland cement gravel concrete f.oundation,f'rom curb line to <br />curb line,placinr-P the necessary marginal cerient curb,and curbing; the. roadway with-.-,. <br />cement curb where same is not already constructed,also the construction of the necessar; <br />storm water inlets,ete,. <br />Detail drawings,plans,profiles and specifications are on file and maybe seen at <br />the office of said Board and all work in the nfJ<ing of r,tiid public improvementmust <br />be r'one in accordance therewith. Said improvement shell be known and designated as <br />thTAL BUT STREET PAVF;ME 1T IMPROV91,40, T ='ROM COLFAX AVENUE TO LA, SAL1.E A tE'1UE 11VIPROVE .E'`. T <br />RESOLUTION NO.105. <br />Notice of this gesolution shall be published in the south Bend Daily Times on the <br />21th. day and on the 28th. day of August 1911.. Said Board has fixed the gth. i ay of <br />-eptember 1911 as €r, date on which remonstrances may be filed or heard by persons intere <br />-ested or affected by said public improvwments and on said day at 7-15 P.M. said <br />bosrd will at its said office hear and consider any remonstrator and person interested <br />or whose property is affected by said public improvements and will decide whether the <br />benefits that will accrue to the property,abutting and adjacent to the proposed improve <br />-ments and to said ci.ty,will be equal to ,or exceed the estimated cost of the proposed <br />impro ements,as estim =.ted by the City Civil Engineer. A Bond or bonds to -be issued <br />to the contractor in payment of sucfi work where the property owner signes waiver re <br />required,as according to law. wt1ch se%id bonds shall bear interest at the rate of <br />s ' x per cent per annum payable as provided by law. <br />�.. ;,.eating given on Vacation Resolution No. 10. The Board find teat the property of <br />the Estate of Clement 3tudebakers is benefited in the Amount of Twenty Five ($25.00) <br />Dollars. The property of The Estate of Clement Studebakers is therefore assessed <br />Twenty five ($25.00) Dollars. Now comes the Estate of Clement Studebakers and waive <br />all notice of assessments under Vacation Resolution No. 10. and pay into the,tre&sury <br />of the City of South Bendjndiana. the sun of Twenty Five ($25.00).Dollars_ <br />.Hearing given on Vacation Resolution No. ll.for the vacation of the First Alley <br />West of Eddy Street from Colfax Avenue to the First alley `North of Colfax Avenue. <br />The Board find that the Property of ;carry A. Engman & Maude Birdsell Engman is <br />benefited in the amount of Two Hundred and Twenty rive ($225.00) Dollars <br />The property of Harry A. Engman Jr. and Maude Birdsell Engm-an is therefore <br />assessed Two Hundred and Twenty five ( 225.00) Dollars. Now comes ffarry A Engman Jr. <br />and Maude Birdsall Engnian and waive all notice of assessments under Vacation <br />Resolution No.11.and pay into the Treasury of the City of South Bend, Indiana. the <br />sum of Two Hundred and. Twenty five (022.5.00) dollars. The Board hereby declare all <br />action concluded. <br />R' <br />
