RESOLUTION NO. 244 <br />LUTION AUTHORIZING ACCEPTANCE OF BID OF THE NEW SALEM <br />IONARY BAPTIST CHURCH, ROBERT BATTEAST AND CHARLES HOWELL <br />LAND IN THE LASALLE PARK PROJECT, INDIANA R -57 <br />WHEREAS, the New Salem Missionary Baptist Church has submitted a written offer <br />for disposition parcels commonly referred to as Nos. 13 -8, 13 -9 and 13 -10; <br />Robert Batteast has submitted a written offer for disposition parcels commonly <br />referred to as Nos. 20 -10, 22 -23 and 22 -24; and Charles Howell has submitted <br />a written offer for disposition parcels commonly referred to as Nos. 14 -9 and <br />14 -10 all eing within the LaSalle Park Project, Indiana R -57; and <br />WHEREAS, the South Bend Redevelopment Commission has determined that the <br />dispositioa method of public offering meets the requirements of state and local <br />law and acceptance of these bids are in accordance with the approved disposal <br />program in the Urban Renewal Plan for this area; and <br />WHEREAS, t e Commission has determined that the redevelopers possess the <br />qualificat'ons and financial resources necessary to acquire and develop the <br />land in accordance with the Urban Renewal Plan; and <br />WHEREAS, the Commission has determined that the disposition price as submitted <br />in the bids of the above redevelopers is not less than the flair market value <br />as determined for said parcels in accordance with state statutes with said <br />fair market value having been approved by DHUD. <br />NOW, THE <br />to purch <br />follows: <br />13 -8 <br />13 -9 <br />13 -10 <br />20 -10 <br />22 -23 <br />22 -24 <br />14 -9 <br />14 -10 <br />BE IT F <br />parcels <br />all nec <br />Adopted al <br />on Decembi <br />Suite 100: <br />RE, the South Bend Redevelopment Commission accepts the offer <br />and redevelop, and approves the purchase price thereof, as <br />Bidder <br />Sq.
