jp 17_ Board met in regular session at 10A.m. all -members present Petition received and ref ered to City Engineer asking for the establishing of a grace on the first Alley Vest of Franklin Street from Monroe Street to to South Street. v Petition received asking for a pipe surer on South Main Street south from Indiana Avenue the Clerk ordereO to write Parties,that the Board were anxious to do all in their ?over to encour4ge new indurtries. Clerk ordered to notify the Home Telephone Company to moire a pole in the alley Vest of the Cermatory Plant to t1he South West corner of the builcaing.. Niedbalski the following preamble and resolution were unanimously adopted; WHEREAS, This Board did on the 26th day of May 1911 deem it expedient aid of public utility to permamently improve Eddy Street from South Bend Avenue to Howard Street,by paving the roadway of the same,and did on said date pass and adopt a resolution authorizing said permanent improvement,and, WHEREAS, The eity engineer has prepared and filed with this Board a report showing the number and locations of service pipes,nains,conduitn.lateral and .connections which are or will be necessary to aceommodate the abutting; property owners with gas,water,heat or any other product for whieh any person.firmm or corporation has been granted a franchise for supplying the eitizens of the city of the city of South Benf1.,Indiana,which report is as follows;- Connections Lot No. Name of Ad6ition Name of Owner Gas Water Sewer All 1 Hartman & fillers Alfred. All as shown on detail plans,profiles and sPeeifitations on file in the department of Public Works of said City: and that it island is _iereby Aso declared,necessary ror the Northern Indiana Gas �, Electrie Company whieh has anIt operates under,& franchise from said Cityto supply gas to the eitizens of said C ity to provide and install mains,laterals,servise pipes and connections for gas in said .part of said City Streets,of the description ,location and number set fourth in said report of said Ci$ry Engineer,whieh sains,serviee pipes and connections are hereby deal' ed ne,e ssary:for,the immediate or future use of said company in supplying Fas` 4 to th owners of property abutting upon said part of said street.
