17o Board met in regular session. at 10 A. M. all members present. IMP "?0TTEMENT RESOLUTION NO X7 R'rSOLVI�D,by the Beard of Public Works of the City of „South Bend,IndiAna.that it is desired and ;deemed necessary to rake the following doneribed ImproveRtnt in the aforesaid City as authorized by the following numbered Improvement Resolution adopt -ed by said board on tAe 23day of June 1911. Resolved that an improvement be made of t e kind,size,location and terminal point as follows; By Gracing Ge&rgi Avenue from Sample Street to the Easterly lint of Frantz Second Addition. By grading tke said Avenue from property line to property line and constr`.ueting cement Walks and Curbs on both sides of said Avenue. All as shown on detail plans and profiles of said Avenue on file in the office of the Board of Public Works of said City.And: such improvement is now ordered.bd all.w6rk in the making of said public improvement must be done in accordance therewith. Said improvements s.xiall be known and designated as GRADE,CURB AND WALK IMPROVEMET ON GEORGE AVENUE. N0.97. Said Board has fixed the 14th. day of July 1911 as a date upon which remonstrance may be filed or heard by persons interested or affected by'said public improvements and.,on said day at 7;15 P.M. said Board will at its said office hear and consider any remonstrator and person interested or whose property is affected by said public improvement a d. will decide whether the benefit that will accrue to the property, abtitting and adjieent to the proposed improvements and to" sari City will be equal to or exceed. the estimated cost of the proposed improvement,as estimated by the City Civil Engineer. A Bond or Bonds to be issued to the Contractor in payment of such work where the property owner signes waiver required,as according to law. Which said Bonds shall bear interest at t e rate of six per annum payable as provided by law. Notice of this resolution shall be published in the South Bend %aily Tines on June 27th. 1911 and July and. 1911. IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTION NO.SS. RESOLVED,by the Board of Public Works of the City of SouthBend,Indiana; That it is desired and deemed: necessary to make the following described public improvements in the aforesaid City as authorized by the following numbered Improver- nt Recolutio -n adopted by the said Board on the 23th. day of June 1911. Re.folved that an improvement be made of the kind,size,location and, terminal .point as follows; A Lateral Sewer on Leon Court from Kemble Avenue to Scott Street,b y constructing a lateral sewer as follows :-Beginning at T e central lire of $emble Avenue and said Leon Court:then ce East along the center line of Leon Court to the center of. Chapin Street with+. a 15" pipe:thence still East along the center line of said Leon Court to the center of Scott Street with a 12" pipe.And such improver'll is now ordered. Detail drawinge,plans,profiles and specifieations are on file and may be seen at the office of said Board and all work in the making of said public improvement must be done in accordance therewith. Saiid improvement shall be known and designated as LATERAL SEWER ON LEON COURT FROM KEMBEL AVENUE TO SCOTTS STREET NO.SS. Said Board has fixed 14th. day of July 1911 as a date upon which remonstrances may be filed or heard by persons interested or affected by said public improvement and on said day at 7;15 P.M. said Board will at its said office bear and consider any remonstrators and persons interested or whose property is affected by said public improvement and will decide whether the benefits that will accure to the property,abutting a d adjacent to the proposed inprovemee:t and to said City,will be equal to,or exceed the estimated cost of the proposed improvements,as estimated by the City Civil Engineer.
