BILL NO. 17-19 <br /> ORDINANCE NO. <br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH <br /> BEND, INDIANA,APPROPRIATING ADDITIONAL FUNDS FOR CERTAIN <br /> DEPARTMENTAL AND CITY SERVICES OPERATIONS IN 2019 OF$85,857 <br /> FROM GENERAL FUND (#101), $657,159 FROM PARKS & RECREATION <br /> FUND (#201), $28,150 FROM GIFT, DONATION, BEQUEST FUND (#217), <br /> $97,077 FROM HALL OF FAME DEBT SERVICE FUND (#313), $321,707 FROM <br /> 2018 FIRE ST#9 BOND DEBT SERVICE FUND (#350), $178,534 FROM <br /> PROFESSIONAL SPORTS DEVELOPMENT FUND (#377),$1,811,500 FROM <br /> COUNTY OPTION INCOME TAX FUND (#404), $3,300,000 FROM 2018 ZOO <br /> BOND CAPITAL FUND (#453),AND $70,000 FROM SMART STREETS BOND <br /> CAPITAL FUND (#753). <br /> STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT <br /> The Common Council passed the City's 2019 operating and capital budgets in <br /> 2018 (Ordinance#10615-18 passed on October 8, 2018), which included expenditures for <br /> various City operations. It is now necessary to appropriate additional funds for <br /> operational and capital expenditures necessary for the City to effect provision of services <br /> to its citizens which were not anticipated at the time the City budget was adopted. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City <br /> of South Bend, Indiana, as follows: <br /> Section I.
