BILL NO. 18-19 <br /> ORDINANCE NO. <br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH <br /> BEND, INDIANA, APPROPRIATING ADDITIONAL FUNDS FOR CERTAIN <br /> DEPARTMENTAL AND ENTERPRISE OPERATIONS IN 2019 OF $960,000 <br /> FROM EMS CAPITAL FUND (#287), $177,475 FROM CENTURY CENTER <br /> OPERATING FUND (#670),AND $63,000 FROM CENTURY CENTER CAPITAL <br /> FUND (#671). <br /> STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT <br /> The Common Council passed the City's 2019 operating and capital budgets in <br /> 2018 (Ordinance#10616-18 passed on October 8, 2018), which included expenditures for <br /> various City enterprise operations. It is now necessary to appropriate additional funds for <br /> operational expenditures necessary for the City to effect provision of services to its <br /> citizens which were not anticipated at the time the City budget was adopted. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of <br /> South Bend, Indiana, as follows: <br /> Section I. The following amounts are hereby appropriated in fiscal year 2019 and <br /> set apart within the following designated funds for operational expenses as follows: <br /> FUND Amount <br /> EMS Capital (#287) $960,000 <br /> Century Center Operating(#670) 177,475 <br /> Century Center Capital (#671) 63,000 <br /> TOTAL $1,200,475 <br /> Section II.
