R -56, INDUSTRIAL EXPANSION <br />WHEREAS, it is necessary by the Board of Commissioners of the <br />partment of Redevelopment of the City of South Bend, Indiana to <br />quire the following real estate in the urban renewal area known as <br />d. R -56, Industrial Expansion Project, in the City of South Bend, <br />diana: <br />Parcel <br />Concurred in <br />Number <br />Owner <br />Acquisition Price <br />3 -9 <br />Clarence Washington' <br />$5,500 <br />3 -10 <br />McKissack- Price - Thompson <br />4,000 <br />4 -10 <br />Yolan Bozsany <br />4,200 <br />5 -4 <br />Walter Lula (Holloway L /C) <br />3,850 <br />5 -5 <br />Anton Horbol <br />4,700 <br />5 -10 <br />Charles Watkins <br />1,750 <br />6 -2 <br />Adolph Laskowski Estate <br />1,700 <br />BE IT RESOLVED, that the Executive Director cause a notice and <br />al offer in writing to be made to each of the above owners at the <br />pective concurred in price, which final offer shall include an in- <br />ation to discuss the acquisition of owner's property with the De- <br />tment of Redevelopment within 10 days from mailing and a notifica- <br />n that Eminent Domain proceedings will be instituted immediately <br />er said 10 -day period if agreement cannot be reached on the pur- <br />se price within said 10 days. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, by the Commissioners of the Department <br />of Redevelopment of the City of South Bend, Indiana, that in the <br />event an agreement cannot be reached on the purchase of the property <br />within 10 days after notice of final offer, then the Commissioners <br />do hereby determine that they shall proceed to acquire the above- <br />described parcels of real estate under the power of Eminent Domain <br />as described by the laws of the State of Indiana in order to carry <br />out the redevelopment plan, and their attorney, Bruce C.
