Company appeared <br />before the Board'andre:quested permission to.cut into pavement at Nineteenth Street <br />and Mishawaka Avenue to repa�e gas drip. Same approved subject to approval <br />of the City Engineer. Also request for permission to cut int pavement on Carroll <br />Street"and Haney Avenue and Ford Street and Phillipa Street Referred°until Spring, <br />J. P Reed appearedoefore..the Board and explained about amounts <br />for insurance on buildings in the City Cemetery, and reduced the amount of insurance <br />on buildings in the City Cemetery from $1425.00 to $1025.00 Same ordered placed. <br />with Alexis Coquillard in the Girard Insurance Company at $1025.00 for three <br />-years from February 5th., 1922. a <br />-By -unanimaia.s"vote the following resolution was approved. <br />R F S 0 L U T I 0 N. <br />Resolved that the ,Boa"rd of .Public Works considers it a bad policy <br />to pay rentals on residence telephones in private residences for -city officers. The <br />Board of Works therefore refuse to place telehpones at the„City's expense in private <br />residences. <br />Complaint about guywire.which blocks sidewalk on the south side <br />of .Hastings Street at the alley.between Smith Street and Eighth Street. Reported <br />on as follows:- This is an Mndiana Bell Tel. Co. guywire there had just been built <br />a new sidewalk which leaves this guywire directly in the way 6 the sidewalk,, this <br />guywire should be removed. Same approved:. <br />poles and anchors. Indiana Bell Tel. Co. granted permission to set the°following <br />Placing of 2-poles and 2'anchors in alley between Lafayette Street <br />and Main Street from Madison Street to Marion Street to Marion Street.
