RESOLUTION NO. 222 ESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ACCEPTANCE OF BID OF BEMIS AND GERALDINE BLAKE FOR LAND IN THE LASALLE PARK PROJECT, I DIANA R -57 WHEREAS, Bemis and Geraldine Blake has submitted a written offer meeting the app ved minimum price on Disposition Parcel commonly referred to as No. 15-1, LaSalle Park Project, Indiana R -57; and WHEREAS, the South Bend Redevelopment Commission has determined that the acceptan a of this bid is in accordance with the approved disposal program for this area; and WHEREAS, the Commission has determined that the redeveloper possesses the qualifications and financial resources necessary to acquire and develop the land in accordance with the Urban Renewal Plan; and WHEREAS, the offer of $791.00 by Bemis and Geraldine Blake is satisfactory and is not less than the offering price of the Commission for uses in accordan a with the Urban Renewal Plan, which offering price was submitted to and approved by the Department of Housing and Urban Development. NOW, THEREFORE, THE SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION accepts the offer of Bemis and Geraldine Blake to acquire at a price of $791.00 and redevelop the desi nated Disposition Parcel 15 -18 which is known and described as follows: L t 94 except the South 10 feet thereof, Lot 95 and the South 1 2 of the vacated East -West alley adjacent and North of Lot 95 i the recorded Plat of LaSalle Park, a Subdivision in the North - w st 1/4 of Section 10, Township 37 North, Range 2 East, in the C ty of South Bend, Indiana, and containing approximately 9,240 s uare feet. Adopted t a regular meeting of the South Bend Redevelopment Commission held Jun 6, 1968, at the office of the Commission, 120 West LaSalle Avenue, South Be d. Indiana.
