RESOLUTION NO. 219 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF DISPOSITION CONTRACT DOCUMENTS FOR LAND TO BE DISPOSED OF IN THE LASALLE PARK PROJECT, IND. R -57 WHEREAS, the South Bend Redevelopment Commission offered certain parcels of land in the LaSalle Park Project, Ind. R -57, for sale at public offering duly and legally advertised and for which bids were obtained in accordance with legal procedure on April 11, 1968; and WHEREAS, at a Special Meeting of the South Bend Redevelopment Commission on April 23, 1968, the Redevelopment Commission opened and reviewed all bids received for the land set forth in the public offering and the highest or best bid was determined by the South Bend Redevelopment Commission at said meeting; and WHERE S, the Redevelopment Commission has proceeded with other neces ary legal steps in order to dispose of said land as offered in th public offering and now desires to enter into Purchase and Redev lopment Agreement with the prospective purchaser or redeveloper. NOW, HEREFORE, be it resolved that the President and the Secretary of th Redevelopment Commission are hereby authorized to execute Redev lopment Agreements, Instruments of Conveyance and all other neces ary documents for the transfer of real estate to the successful purch sers of land for disposition under the public offering held April 11, 1968. Adopt d at the regular meeting of the Redevelopment Commission at the offic of the Commission, 120 West LaSalle Avenue, Suite 1001, South Bend, Indiana on June 6, 1968.
