Anthony Blvd. <br />Fort Wayne, IN 46807 <br />ECA will provide one CDA Credential class offered to staff working in early <br />childhood programs as well as living in the city of South Bend. The class <br />consisting of 120 plus hours of training are held on-line with weekly learning <br />modules. Outside of class, students will gather resources and write Reflective <br />Statement of Competence as part of their Professional Portfolio. The <br />Instructor will visit each student at least two times at their program to <br />observe how the knowledge and skills gained in the class are being <br />implemented. The instructor will also prepare students to be ready for the <br />final steps toward applying for the CDA Credential. This opportunity provides <br />them the experiences to learn about early childhood and to grow <br />professionally. After earning the CDA Credential, students often continue <br />their education by pursuing an Associate Degree in Early Childhood.
