RESOLUTION NO. 218 RES LOTION APPROVING AND PROVIDING FOR THE EXECUTION OF SECOND AME DATORY CONTRACT AMENDING CONTRACT NO. IND. R -57 (LG) BY AND BETWEEN THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, DEPARTMENT OF REDEVELOPMENT AND THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. BE IT RESOLVED by the South Bend Redevelopment Commission, Governing Body of the City of South Bend, Department of Redevelopment, AS FOLLOWS: SEE ION 1. The pending proposed First Amendatory Contract (herein called the "Amendatory Contract ") amending that certain Contract No. Ind. R- E7 (LG), dated the 22d day of April, 1966, further amended by First Amendatory Contract dated the 27th day of June, 1967, by and between the City of South Bend, Department of Redevelopment (herein called the "Local Public Agency ") and the United States of America (Herein called the "Government"), is hereby in all respects approved. SECTION 2. The President of the South Bend Redevelopment Commission is hereby authorized and directed to execute said Amendatory Contract in two counterparts on behalf of the Local Public Agency, and the Secretary of the South Bend Redevelopment Commission is hereby authorized and directed to impress and attest the official seal of the Local Public Agency on each such counterpart, and the Executive Director is hereby authorized and directed to forward such counterparts to the Department of Housing and Urban Development for execution on behalf of the Government, together with such other documents relative to the approval and execution as may be required by the Government. SECTION 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately. SECT ON 4. Adopted at a regular meeting of the Redevelopment Commission on June , 1968 at the office of the Commission, 120 West LaSalle Avenue, Suite 10 1, South Bend, Indiana.
