<br />Hearin(* had On resolution for grade, 'ourb and walk on Indiana
<br />'Avenue from Walnut Street to Olive Street under.Improvement Resolution No.. 907, In the
<br />City of South Bend, Indiana.
<br />Upon said hearing remonstrators appeared but no written -remonstrance,
<br />was filed. The Board after hearing all ppatties interested in said improvement decided
<br />to modify said resolution to read as follows:- Eliminate sidewalk and curb on entire
<br />south side -'of Indiana Avenue from Walnut Street to Olive Street, and the -Board being,
<br />fully advised in the premises decides that the benefits to ropperty liabel to be
<br />assessed for -said -mprovement are equal to the estimated cos of the same as reportedby the City Civil y ngineer and: thereupon takes final action on said resolution as
<br />modified and the same is hereby in all things, ratified, confirmed and aPpr6Ved as
<br />modified.
<br />Resolved further that noticesbe ppublished- on the 3rd. day of
<br />September 1921 and on the loth. day of September 1921 in the South Bend^Daily News -Times,
<br />a newspaper of general circulation insaid City, stati Q that this Board will receive

<br />from Kenwood Avenue to Rogers Street, under Improvement'Reso-lut on No. 908. In the
<br />,City of South Bend, Indiana.
<br />In the above matter remonstrators appeared but no written remonstraneesj
<br />were filed. The Board being fully advised in the premises decides that the benefits to
<br />property liable - to assessed for said improvement are equal to the,. estimated cost of the
<br />same as reported by the City Civil Engineer, and thereupon takes final action on said. I
<br />resolution. as Qriginally adopted and the same is hereby ub al things, ratified, confirmed
<br />}
<br />and approved.

<br />of general circulation in said City, stating that this Board will receive bids for the
<br />construction of said improvement up to 10:00 A.M. Tuesday September 20th., 1921 The
<br />Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
<br />Deferred hearing had on resolution der pavement on°Hine Street
<br />from Walnut Street to Studebaker Street, under Improvement Resolution Noe 902. In the
<br />City of South Bend, Indiana.
<br />In the above matter remonstrators appeared but ho writtten remonstrance`
<br />filed. The Board after hearing all parties interested, decided to rescind said resolution:

<br />Hearing had on resolution for pavement on Michigan Street from 40 feet
<br />north of the North Line or Fairview Avenue to South lihe of Donmoyer-Avenue, under Improve
<br />went Resolution No-. 906. In the City of South -Bend, Indiana.
<br />In the above matter remonstrators and petitioners appeared a d
<br />written remonstrance filed .August lath., 1921 considered, Henry Heiermann of.1716 South
<br />Michigan Street filed petitiof withdrawn his name off of remonstrance, same,allowed by
<br />the Board. R. R. Smith, Gen 1. Mgr. of the Chica o, South Bend & No,, Indiana Ry,,
<br />Company appeared and stated that this Company could not arrange for the paving between
<br />their tracks this Fall.. The Board after hearing all parties interested de erred
<br />all action on said resolution until Wednesday September '7th., 1921 at 7:15 P.M. Beard to-
<br />investigate, -matters.
<br />Hearing had on resolution for pavement on 4th. di,*ey west of
<br />Lafayette Street from Marion Street to Navarre Street, and said alley lies between Lots, 561
<br />and 57in Henrick's & Grant's Addition and Lots 6 & 7 in Burrough's Sub -Division of Bank
<br />Out Lots 115. under Improvement Resolution No. 905. In the City of South Bend, Indiana','el
<br />In the above matter a remonstrators appeared and no written reton-
<br />strance was filed. The Board decided to defer all action an said resolution until Wednes
<br />Wednesday September 7th. , 1921 at 7` 15 P.M.
<br />Deferred hearing had on Resolution for Vacation of alley runnin
<br />East and West'and lying between Lots 1-2-3.& A in Stover -Lon ley Addition , a1"se Vfetor`ia
<br />Street also Lafayette Street, under.Vacation Resolution No. 98. In the City of South
<br />Bend., Indiana.
<br />In the above matter no remonstrators appeared and no written
<br />remonstrance was filed, the Beard therefore sustain all former action taken, and declare
<br />the above described property in all things vacated and this resolution in all things, r
<br />ratified, confirmed and approved.
<br />Resolved further, that the City Civil Engineer be instructed to
<br />prepare a roll showing awards of damages and assessments of benefits to all parties
<br />and properties -interested in the above 'matter.
