<br />Board met in regular session at 7:15 Y.M. All members present.
<br />Hearing had on resolution Vor pavement on Mein. Street from
<br />Indiana Avenue to Ewing Avenue, under Improvement Resolution No. 874. In the City -of
<br />South Bend, Indiana.
<br />In the- above matter remonstrators up eared and written remonstrance
<br />was filed. The Board after hearingg all parties interested deferred hearing until
<br />Wednesday June 8th.,.1921 at,7:15 P.M.
<br />Hearing had on improvement Resolution No. 875 for resurfacing
<br />o f pavement on Eddy Street from La Salle Avenue to Howard Street, in the City of
<br />South Bend, Indian.
<br />Upon said hearing 'a written remonstrance was filed against the
<br />resurfacing of pavement from South Bend Avenue to Howard Street, the Board after hearing
<br />all parties interested sustained said written remonstrance and modified resolution to
<br />eliminate that pportion of pavement from north line of South Bend Avenue to south of
<br />line of Howard Street, and the Board being fuller advised in the premises, decides that
<br />.the benefits to roperty liable to be ass?ssed for said improvement are equal to the
<br />estimated cost of the same, as repported.by the City Civil Engineer and thereupon
<br />takes final action on saidresolMon as modified, and the same is hereby in all things;
<br />ratified, confirmed and approved as modified.
<br />Resolved that notices be published on the 3rd. day of°June
<br />1921 and on the lothday of June 1 21 in the South Bend News -Times a"newspapper of
<br />general circulation n said City satingg that this Board will receive bids for the
<br />oionstruction of said improvements up, to I0:00 A.M. on the 21st. day of June 1921.
<br />The Board reserves the right to,reject any and all bids.
<br />Hearing had on resolution for pavement on Miner Street from
<br />St. Louis Blvd. to St. Peter Street, under IMprovement Resolution No. 873. In the -
<br />City of South Bend, Indiana.
<br />Upon said hearing remonstrators appeared but no written remon-
<br />strance was filed. And the Board being fully advised to the premises, decides that the
<br />benefits to property liable to be assessed for said improvement are equal: to the estimated
<br />cost of the same, as reported by the City Civil Engineer, and thereupon takes final
<br />action on said resolution as originally adopted, and the same is hereby in all things
<br />ratified, confirmed and approved.
<br />Resolved further that notices be publishedon the 3rd. day of
<br />June 1921 and on the loth. day of June 1921 in the°South Bend Daily News Times -a °
<br />newspaper of general circulation in said City, stating that this Board will receive
<br />bids for the construction of said improvement up to 10:00 A.M. T esday June 21st.
<br />1.921 at 10:00 A.M. The Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
<br />Hearin had on resolution for rade and curb on Huey Street
<br />from Elwood Avenue io Linco�n Way West, under Improv9ment Resolution No. 891. In the
<br />City of South Bend, Indiana. ,
<br />Upon said hearingpetitioners appeared and requested that•improvementl
<br />be put in. And the Board being fully advised in the premises decides that benefits
<br />to roperty liable to be assed for said improvement are equal to the estimated cost
<br />of the same, as reported by the City Civil Engineer, and -thereupon takes final action
<br />on said resolution as originally adopted, and the same is hereby in all things, rati-
<br />fied confirmed 'and °spproved. 7

<br />from Indiana Avenue to Duba 1 Avenue, in the City of South Bend, Indiana.
<br />Upon said hearing no remonstrators appeared and no written
<br />remonstrance was filed. The Board betgg;.fully advised in the premises, deci des that
<br />the benefits to property liable to be assessed for said improvements are equal to the
<br />estimated cost of the same, as reported.by the City Civil Engineer, and thereupon
<br />final action on said resolution as originally adopted,. and the same is hereby in all
<br />things, ratified, confirmed and approved.
