Sample Street appeared beforethe Board and presented remonstrance by pro erty owners agaainst asphalt Plant of the White Construction ompany on Sample Street and, live Street. o action taken. Mr. E. H. Miller a eared before the Boar and petitioned the Board to consent to improvement of Ernspperger Meet without cost to e City as per petition filed in Auditor s Office under date of Aprio 16th.,, 1921 and amended May 9th. 1921. In the above matter the Board referred all petitions to the City Engineer to be checked up and report filed Wednesday May 25th., 1921 at 7:15 P.M , The Board rejected al bids received on Sam le treet ravel pavement under ImprovementsResolution No. 856 and ordered same readvertised on the 25th. day of May 1921 and June 1st. 1921 in the South Bend News Times statingg that this Board will received bids up to 10:00 A.M. on the 14th. day of June 1921, The Board reserves the right to'reject any and all bids; • Bids were received read and referred to the City Engineer for tabulation for Wednesday May 25th.0 1921 for water connections on the following streets. Burke. Long side, each .............................. 32.50 Complaint about pole at Northeast corner of La Porte Ave mxe and Colfax Avenue. This is a postal tel. Co. pole and is in the underground district and should be removed entirely. The wires now on pole could be placed on light Company pole temppoorarily until all wires are placed underground in this district. This report made by Pols & Wire Inspector and approved by the Board.
