Board met in regular session at 7:15 P.M. All members present, <br />Bearing had on resolution for the Widening of Mishawaka Avenue at <br />Nineteenth Street, under Condemnation Resolution No. 58. In the City of South Bend, <br />Indiana. <br />In the above matter remonstrators appeared and a written remonstrance ' <br />was filed: Attorney Floyd Jellison appeared representing Mr. & Mrs. Engle owners of <br />proprty to be taken and filed written remonstrance. The Board after due consideratio <br />deferred this hearing until Wednesday March 30th.., 1921 at 7:15 P.M, <br />Complaint made to the Board by J. B. Heiner 739 E. Bronson Street - <br />-about F. W. Keller filling in alley above grade. 'The.Board instructed the City <br />Engineer to investigate this matter. - <br />Hearin had on`reso'lution for the paving of Chestm,74S#.reet, from <br />Washington Avenue to the Lake Shore and. Michigan Southern Raiway,<_uncler Improvement <br />Resolution No 851. In the City of South Bend, Indiana. <br />Upon said hearing reiron-strators�appeared but no written remonstrance <br />f was. filled. And the -Board being fully advised in the premises, decides that thq <br />benefits to property liable to be assessed for said improvements are equal to the <br />estimated cost of the same, as reported by the City Civil Engineer, and thereupon <br />takes final action on said resolution as originally adopted, and the same is.hereby <br />in all things, ratified, confirmed.and approved. <br />Resolved further, that notices be published on the 25th. day of March <br />1921 and on the lst. day of April 1921 in the South Bend Daily Tribune, a newspaper <br />or general circlation in said City, stating that this Board will receive bids for <br />the construction of -said improvement up to 10:00 A.M. April 12th., 1921 at 1-0:00 <br />A.M. The Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids. <br />Hearing had on resolution for pavement on Milton Street from Michigan <br />Street to Fellows Street and Fellows Street from the south line of Milton Street <br />running west ,to the °north°line'of Milton Street East and Milton Street from Fellows. <br />Street to the west line of Rush Street. under Improvement Resolution No. 852. <br />In the City of South Bend, Indiana. <br />t <br />n said hearing remonstrators appeared and a written remonstrance <br />was filed.The rd after hearin all interested r eperty owners over -ruled written <br />remonstrance filed and referred this resolution to he Common Council for ratified4tv-> <br />and deferred all action.on said resolution until final action by Ordinance efthe <br />Common Council. <br />o <br />Petitions filed for sewers as follows: - <br />Sixth Street from Mishawaka Ave me to Grand Trunk Western Ry.. Ce, <br />by const uction of Trunk sewer, Mishawaka Avenue to Wall Street and from thence a <br />serer to'G. T. Western Ry. Co. as planned by the City Engineer. <br />Seventh Street from Mishawaka Avenue to G. T. Ry, <br />Smith Street from Mishawaka Avenue to Grand Trunk Ry. <br />Eighth -Street from Mishawaka Avenue to G. T. Western Ry, <br />Nineth Street from Mishawaka Averne to G. T. Ry. <br />Tenth Street from Mishawaka Avenue to G. T. Ryy. <br />Eleventh Street from Mishawaka A venue to G. T. Rye <br />Clifford Court from Mishawaka Avenue to G. T. Ryy. <br />Seventeenth St. from Mishawaka Avenue to Gs T. Ry. <br />18th. Street from Mishawaka Avenue to G. T.
