<br />Deferred hearing had on'resolution for pipe sewer on Emerick
<br />Street from Soring Street to a point 100 feet northerly from the centsr of Hagerty Street,
<br />under Improvement Resolution No. 850.- In the City of South Bend, Indiana.
<br />In the above matter Attorney Clements of^the Michigan Cntral
<br />R. R. Company appeared before the Board and stated that the written rpoposition for the'
<br />sewer over their right of way had not been received from their Detroit-offioe and,requested,
<br />that this hearing be continued until,W ednesdayy March 22nd.,, 1gq21 at 7:15 Pm. The Board
<br />continued this hearing until.Wednesday March 22nd., 1921 at 7:15 P.M
<br />Wm. B. Calvert and D. C. Layton Street Commissioner appeared before
<br />the.Board and took up the matter of the condition of Siam le Street from Olive Street to'
<br />the City -Limits. The Board ordered a resolution prepared for a gravel pavement
<br />Resolutionwasordered for a pipe sewer on South Chapin Street
<br />from -Calvert'Street.to Ewing Avenue.
<br />Resolution ordered for grade, curb and walk on Huey Street from
<br />Lincoln Way West to Elwood Avenue.
<br />Board ordered two paid ofClay Door Opening Devices for police
<br />garage doers from Lakkin Company.
<br />Board instructed City Engineer to prepare resolutions for pavement
<br />on Jefferson St. Bridge, Sample Street Bridge Micni an Street Bridge and Race Bridge,
<br />and a waiver to be signed by the Northern Indiana Railway Company. -
<br />Street Commissioner took up matter of Notre Dame Avenue and Eddy
