RESOLUTION NO. 194 <br />RESOLUTION RELATING TO ACQUISITION OF PROPERTY <br />BY CONDEMNATION IND. R -57, LASALLE PARK <br />WHEREA , it is necessary by the Board of Commissioners of the Department <br />of Red velopment of the City of South Bend, Indiana to acquire the following <br />real a tate in the urban renewal area known as Ind. R -57 - LaSalle Park <br />Projee in the City of South Bend, Indiana: <br />Y rcel Number Owner Concurred - In <br />Acquisition Price <br />40 -1 Mose Cobb $5,200 <br />22 -24 Edward Dobbs (County) 3,635 <br />9 -17 Stanz (Poindexter) 4,795 <br />28 -4 Hosea Dorris 2,750 <br />46 -17 Harley Dunnuck 4,865 <br />BE IT RESOLVED, that the Executive Director cause a notice and final offer <br />in writing to be made to each of the above owners at the respective concurred- <br />in pride, which final offer shall include an invitation to discuss the acqui- <br />sition of owner's property with the Department of Redevelopment within 10 days <br />from iling and a notification that Eminent Domain proceedings will be in- <br />stitut d immediately after said 10 day period if agreement cannot be reached <br />on the purchase price within said 10 days. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Commissioners of the Department of Redevelopment <br />of the City of South Bend, Indiana, that in the event an agreement cannot be <br />reached on the purchase of the property within 10 days after notice of final <br />offer, then the Commissioners do hereby determine that they shall proceed to <br />acquire the above described parcels of real estate under the power of Eminent <br />Domain as described by the laws of the State of Indiana in order to carry out <br />the redevelopment plan, and their attorney, Burce C.
