RESOLUTION NO. 187 <br />RESOLUTION DETERMINING COMMISSION <br />POLICY IN SELECTION OF CONTRACTORS <br />WHEREAS, the Commission has adopted certain policies <br />concerning the selection of Contractors for services to be <br />performed for the Commission which the Commission now desires <br />to clarify as to its position therein, <br />BE IT RESOLVED, that it is the declared policy of <br />the Commission to select all Contractors for services to <br />be performed for the Commission without discrimination on <br />the basis of race, color or national origin. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that in selecting Contractors <br />for services to be performed for the Commission that the <br />Commission shall not require membership by a Contractor <br />in any technical or professional organization that pursues <br />discriminatory practices. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that in selecting Contractors <br />for services to be performed, that the Commission shall not <br />require membership by the Contractor in any technical or <br />professional organization that conditions eligibility for <br />memb rship upon affiliation with any-other organization <br />that discriminates on the basis of race, color or national <br />origin. <br />ATTEST: <br />Adopted this 6th day of July, 1967. <br />J <br />CITY OF S T-TTH BEND <br />DEPARTME T;OF REDEVELOPMENT <br />Y u <br />Ll <br />
