R -57, LASALLE PARK <br />it is necessary by the Board of Commissioners of the <br />!nt of Redevelopment of the City of South Bend, Indiana <br />re the following real estate in the urban renewal area <br />Ind. R -57 - LaSalle Park.Project Area in the City of <br />,nd. Indiana: <br />r Owner Concurred -In <br />Acquisition Price <br />42 -19 <br />Clarence Walters <br />$3,060 <br />42 -20 <br />Clarence Waiters <br />510 <br />43 -3 <br />Joseph Szefcik <br />1,500 <br />13 -15 <br />Francis Preston <br />4,900 <br />37 -14 <br />County Owned <br />1,020 <br />the Department of Redevelopment of the City of South Bend, <br />has made an effort to purchase the above described property <br />owners, but the Department and said owners have been unable <br />as to the purchase price, or the preliminary title examination <br />n the property to be owned by the county auditor, or greatly <br />ed. <br />SOLVED, that the Executive Director cause a notice and final <br />writing to be made to each of the above owners at the <br />ve concurred -in price, which final offer shall include an <br />on to discuss the acquisition of owners property with the <br />!nt of Redevelopment within 10 days from mailing and a <br />,tion that Eminent Domain proceedings will be instituted <br />;ely after said 10 day period if agreement cannot be reached <br />purchase price within said 10 days. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Commissioners of the Department of <br />Redevelopment of the City of South Bend, Indiana, that in the event <br />an agreement cannot be reached on the purchase of the property <br />within 10 days after notice of final offer, then the Commissioners <br />do hereby determine that they shall proceed to acquire the above <br />descri ed parcels of real estate under the power of Eminent Domain <br />as des ribed by the laws of the State of Indiana in order to carry <br />out t redevelopment plan, and their attorney, Bruce C.
