R -57, LASALLE PARK <br />it is necessary by the Board of Commissioners of the Department <br />tlopment of the City of South Bend, Indiana to acquire the following <br />ite in the urban renewal area known as Ind. R -57 - LaSalle Park Project <br />:he City of South Bend, Indiana: <br />Parcel lumber Owner Conqurred -In <br />Acquisition Price <br />17 -3 Samuel Whitehall (Auditor ) $ 705.00 <br />37 -1 Amos Townsend (Auditor) 2,165.00 <br />31 -17 Edward Moragne 4,810.00 <br />the Department of Redevelopment of the City of South Bend, Indiana <br />an effort to purchase the above described property from the owners, <br />)epartment and said owners have been unable to agree as to the purchase <br />c the preliminary title examination has shown the property to be owned <br />)unty auditor, or greatly encumbered. <br />OLVED, that the Executive Director cause a notice and final offer in <br />o be made to each of the above owners at the respective concurred -in <br />.ich final offer shall include an invitation to discuss the acquisition <br />s property with the Department of Redevelopment within 10 days from <br />nd a notification that Eminent Domain proceedings will be instituted <br />ly after said 10 day period if agreement cannot be reached on the purchase <br />hin said 10 days. <br />THER RESOLVED by the Commissioners of the Department of Redevelopment of <br />of South Bend, Indiana, that in the event an agreement cannot be reached <br />rchase of the property within 10 days after notice of final offer, then the <br />hers do hereby determine that they shall proceed to acquire the above <br />parcels of real estate under the power of Eminent Domain as described <br />ws of the State of Indiana in order to carry out the redevelopment plan, <br />attorney, Bruce C.
