the <br />Title <br />and f <br />its u <br />which <br />RESOLUTION NO. 170 <br />RESOLUTION OF THE SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION <br />GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF SOUTH, BEND, DEPARTMENT OF <br />OF REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORIZING FILING OF AMENDATORY APPLICATION <br />FOR LOAN AND GRANT FOR PROJECT INDIANA R -57 <br />;, the City of South Bend, Department of Redevelopment (herein <br />the "Local Public Agency ") has entered into a Contract dated <br />id day of April, 1966, numbered Contract No. Ind. R -57 (L.G.) <br />together with any supplements thereto or amendments, modifi- <br />i, or waivers of any provisions thereof, is herein called the <br />Lct for Loan and Grant "), with the United States Of America <br />through the Department of Housing and Urban Development <br />i called the "Government ") providing, in part, for a Project <br />try Loan (herein called the "Loan ") under Section 102(a) of <br />of the Housing Act of 1949, as amended (42 U.S.C. 1450 et seq.), <br />a Project Capital Grant to aid the Local Public Agency in <br />lertaking and carrying out of a certain urban renewal.project <br />t called the "Project ") designated Project No. Ind. R -57, <br />:s more fully identified in the Contract for Loan and Grant; and <br />the Contract for Loan and Grant cited above does not <br />for the making of Rehabilitation Grants by the Government and <br />be amended to provide for the making of said Rehabilitation <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the Contract for Loan and Grant should be further amended <br />to increase the "loan" authority to include the making of said <br />Rehabilitation Grants; <br />NOW, 1HEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that an application on behalf of the <br />Local Public Agency for an amendment to the Contract for Loan and <br />Grant for the aforementioned purposes is hereby approved, and that <br />the E ecutive Director or Assistant Director is hereby authorized <br />and d rected to execute and to file such application with the <br />Gove t, to provide such additional information and to furnish <br />such ocuments as may be required by the Government and to act as <br />the a thorized correspondent of the Local Public Agency. <br />120 <br />at the regular meeting of the South Bend Redevelopment <br />on on April 6, 1967, at the office of the Commission, <br />LaSalle Avenue, South Bend, Indiana. <br />
