RESOLUTION NUMBER 158 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF A BID OR BIDS FOR THE PURCHASE OF $568,000 PRELIMINARY LOAN NOTES OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, DEPARTMENT OF REDEVELOPMENT WHEREA , the City of South Bend, Department of Redevelopment is selling $S68,0)0 in preliminary loan notes for the financing of an Urban RenewaL Project in the City of South Bend, Indiana, designated as Chapin Street Project, Indiana R -29, to be secured by an agreement betweei the City of South Bend, Department of Redevelopment and the United States of America, and WHEREAS, the notes will be sold on the 17th day of January at Z o'clock Eastern Standard Time. NOW, £REFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners of the Depar ent of Redevelopment of the City of South Bend, as follows: The Executive Director or Assistant Director or Acting Finance Officer be and is hereby authorized to accept the low bid or bids for said preliminary loan notes with acceptance to be by telegram and confirmed by letter. this 3rd day of January, 1967.
