Ind. R-66 (A) , BY AND BETWEEN <br />City of South Bend, Department of Redevelopment AND <br />THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA <br />WHEREAS the United States of America (herein called the "Government") <br />has teTdered to City of South Bend, Department of Redevelopment (herein <br />called the "Local Public Agency ") a proposed Contract,for Planning <br />Advanct for Surveys and Plans for Urban Renewal Project under Title I <br />of the Housing Act of 1949, as amended, under which the Government <br />would a an advance of Federal funds to the Local Public Agency to aid <br />in fin neing the cost of certain surveys and plans in preparation of an <br />urban enewal project designated Project No. Ind. R -66 in the urban renewal <br />area d scribed in such proposed Contact; and <br />EREAS the Local Public Agency has given due consideration to said <br />propos d Contract: <br />B4 IT RESOLVED BY The South Bend Redevelopment Commission, Governing <br />Body og The City of South Bend, Department of Redevelopment AS FOLLOWS; <br />S etion 1. The proposed Contract for Planning Advance for Surveys <br />and Pl s for Urban Renewal Project under Title I of the Housing Act of <br />1949, s amended, designated Contract No. Ind. R -66 (A), consisting of <br />Parts and II, under and subject to the terms and conditions of which <br />the Go ernment would make an advance of Federal funds to the Local Public <br />Agency to aid in financing the cost of certain surveys and plans for an <br />urban enewal project designated Project No. Ind. R -66, situated in the <br />City o South Bend, Indiana, is hereby in all respects approved. <br />Section 2.- The President of the Local Public Agency is hereby <br />authorized and directed to execute said proposed Contract in two <br />counterparts on behalf of the Local Public Agency, and the Secretary is <br />hereby authorized and directed to impress and attest the official Beal <br />of the Local Public Agency on each such counterpart and to forward such <br />counterparts to the Department of Housing and Urban Development for <br />execution on behalf of the Government, together with such other documents <br />relative to the approval and execution thereof as well as to this Resolution <br />as may be required by the Government. <br />done <br />held <br />!tion 3.
