the to RESOLUTION NO. 147 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, DEPARTMENT OF REDEVELOPMENT, AUTHORIZING FILING OF AN AMENDATORY APPLICATION TO INCREASE LOAN AND RELOCATION GRANT FOR MAKING RELOCATION ADJUSTMENT PAYMENTS UNDER SECTION 114 OF THE HOUSING ACT OF 1949 FOR PROJECT NO. INDIANA "R -29 WHEREAS, Section 114 of the Housing Act of 1949, as amended, and ules and regulations prescribed by the Federal Government pursuant ,to provide for the making of Relocation Adjustment Payments on behalf of displaced individuals, families, and business !rns in addition to those previously authorized for payment and �ursement by the Federal Government; and WHEREAS, it is necessary and in the public interest that, in the carrying out of the urban renewal project identified above, Relocation Adjustment Payments be made in accordance with and to the full extent permitted by law and the regulations governing Relocation Adjustment Pay ents, and that the City of South Bend-, Department of Redevelopment, ava 1 itself of financial assistance pursuant to law for this purpose; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE South Bend Redevelopment Commission, governing body of the City of South-Bends Department of Redevelopment, that an amendatory application on behalf of the City of South Bend, Department of Redevelopment for an fay erease in the loan and the relocation grant to make Relocation Adtment Payments in accordance with and to the full extent permitted by e law and regulations governing Relocation Adjustment Payments is reby approved, and that the Executive Director is hereby aurized and directed to execute and to file such amendatory apcation with the Department of Housing and Urban Development, to ovide such additional information and to furnish such documents as be required by said Department, and to act as the authorized resentative of the City of South Bend, Department of Redevelopment.
