a: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 137 <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF A BID OR BIDS <br />FOR THE PURCHASE OF $557,000 PRELIMINARY LOAN NOTES OF <br />THE CITY OF SOUTH BENI), DEPARTMENT OF REDEVELOPMENT <br />WHEREA , the City of South Bend, Department of Redevelopment is selling <br />$557,000 in preliminary loan notes for the financing of an Urban Renewal <br />Project in the City of South Bend, Indiana, designated as Chapin Street <br />Project, Indiana R -29, to be secured by an agreement between the <br />City ol South Bend, Department of Redevelopment and the United States <br />of Ame ica, and <br />WHEREA , the notes will be sold on the 12th day of July, 1966 at <br />1 otcl ck Eastern Daylight Savings Time. <br />NOWT, <br />Dep <br />Adopted <br />EFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners of the <br />t of Redevelopment of the City of South Bend, as follows: <br />The Executive Director or Assistant Director or Acting Finance <br />Officer is hereby authorized to accept the low bid or bids for <br />said preliminary loan notes with acceptance to be by telegram <br />and confirmed by letter. <br />this 7th day of July, 1966. <br />
