Wednesday October 13th.,i920. x Property owners from the s outh. and of the city in the a is laity of the location of the asphalt plants on Calvert Street and South iiain Street appeared before ,the Board in regard to the smoke and dust nuisance caused by the operation of the asphalt plants in that section of the City. Present were, Miss Jessica Pond, of the Fabric Roll Protector Company, Mr. Quimby Taggart, Mr. Wells, Jacob.Kunt$ and Mrs Kuntz_ and Mr. Ed. MoEndarfer, all property owners and business people. Mr. J. G. Schaub sad of the Williston Construction Company and Mr. A. H. McDonald of the White Construction, Company present representing the asphalt plants. The Board heard complaints fr oUL the property owners present in regard to the dust and smoke nuisance caused by the asphalt plants of the Williston arid° White Construction Companys. The Board ordered the represantatives of the Asphalt companies present, to put up dust collectors it they had them and .advised the people..Ahat these companies only had a few more weeks work and then they would have to move from there, present locations and advised them further that anything in a way of an Ord lance would have to be taken up with the'Gomabn Council.
