SAPP is effective in dry cleaner formulations where mild, <br />"controlled" acidity is advantageous and cleaning requirements are less demanding. <br />— Potable Water Treatment: Prayon's sodium acid pyrophosphate conforms to the requirements of NSF/ANSI <br />Standard 60. Used for corrosion & scale control and sequestering.
