I.) SOLAR bSAL,r SPECIFICATION <br />A. GENERAL <br />The salt will be used to prepare a saturated brine solution which will be used <br />as a chloride source for the on -site hypochlorite generator, <br />ii. Bids will be all inclusive. <br />iii. Solar salt/Durex manufactured by Morton Salt (or equal) shall be supplied in <br />bulk deliveries and blov a into the brine saturator tank using the supplier's <br />truck -mounted blower. <br />iv. The existing brine saturator tank has the capacity to receive 25-ton bulk <br />deliveries. <br />V. Equipment such as hoses with the 4" quick disconnect shall be provided with <br />salt delivery by the provider. <br />vi. Off-loading truck air pressure shall not exceed 10 p.s.i, for every salt delivery, <br />B. PRODUCT <br />i. Salt for sodium hypochlorite generation <br />ii.
