Service and repair <br />to be performed at a City facility must be available within 24 <br />hours of notification excluding weekends and holidays. Vendor <br />to state closest factory authorized parts and service location. <br />Yes( NoR <br />Warranties: <br />All equipment supplied by the bidder, whether or not <br />manufactured by the bidder will be warranted by the bidder for <br />a minimum of one (1) year from the date of acceptance after <br />delivery. The successful bidder will be responsible for any and <br />all transportation required for warranty repairs. 24 months on <br />auxiliary engine. Chassis engine and transmission as specified. <br />Performance <br />Each vendor should be prepared to provide the City with a unit <br />p P p Y <br />Yes+O No❑ <br />Evaluation: <br />for evaluation within 2 weeks after the bid opening. A <br />performance evaluation will be conducted by a team of City <br />employees. Performance as determined by the City team will be <br />used to decide if the unit bid is responsive to the needs of the <br />City of South Bend. The City of South Bend reserves the right <br />to have a representative from an outside agency attend the <br />performance evaluations. The results of these performance <br />evaluations will be used to determine if the unit bid meets the <br />minimum performance standards of the City of South Bend and <br />cannot be used by anyone other than City employees for <br />evaluation purposes. <br />Training: Training for City personnel on the safety, operation and Yes f No❑ <br />maintenance of this equipment to be included as part of the bid. <br />Upon delivery of the unit to the City of South Bend, the <br />successful bidder will provide a factory authorized trainer for a <br />minimum of 8 hours of training. <br />Inspection The successful bidder shall arrange a final inspection of the <br />and Delivery: machine upon delivery with the manager of the City Equipment <br />Services Division. If it is found that the equipment does not <br />conform to the specifications as written, the City reserves the <br />right not to accept the unit until such time as all corrections <br />have been made by the bidder to meet the specifications. <br />13 <br />
