RESOLUTION NO. 313 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ACCEPTANCE OF BID FOR LAND IN THE LASALLE PARK PROJECT, IND. R -57 WHEREAS, Hartman Builders, Inc. have submitted a written offer !ting the approved minimum price on Disposition Parcel commonly erred to as No. 17 -14, LaSalle Park Project, Indiana R -57; and WHEREAS, the South Bend Redevelopment Commission has determined that the acceptance of this bid is in accordance with the approved di posal program for this area; and WHEREAS, the Commission has determined that the redeveloper po esses the qualifications and financial resources necessary to acquire and develop the land in accordance with the Urban Renewal Plan; and WHEREAS, the offer of $1,019.00 by Hartman Builders, Inc. is satisfactory and is not less than the offering price of the Com- mi sion for uses in accordance with the Urban Renewal Plan, which of ering price was submitted to and approved by the Department of Ho sing and Urban Development. NOW, THEREFORE, THE SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION accepts tha offer of Hartman Builders, Inc. to acquire at a price of $1,019.00 anJ redevelop the designated Disposition Parcel 17 -14 which is kn wn and described as follows: Lot 246 except the South 20 feet thereof, Lot 245 and the South 112 of vacated Jefferson Street ad- jacent and North of Lot 245 in the recorded 2nd Plat of LaSalle Park, a Subdivision in the North- east 1/4 of Section 9 and the Northwest 1/4 of Section 10, Township 37 North, Range 2 East, in The City of South Bend, Indiana. Adopted at a regular meeting of the South Bend Redevelopment Com- mission held September 18, 1970 at the office of the Commission, Room 1200 County -City Building, 227 West Jefferson Boulevard, South Bend, Indiana 46601.
