RESOLUTION NO. 314 <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ACCEPTANCE OF BID <br />FOR LAND IN THE LASALLE PARK PROJECT, IND. R -57 <br />WHEREAS, Anderson Jones has submitted a written offer meeting <br />e approved minimum price on Disposition Parcel commonly referred <br />as No. 12 -9C, LaSalle Park Project, Indiana R -57; and <br />WHEREAS, the South Bend Redevelopment Commission has determined <br />t at the acceptance of this bid is in accordance with the approved <br />disposal program for this area; and <br />WHEREAS, the Commission has determined that the redeveloper <br />p sesses the qualifications and financial resources necessary to <br />acquire and develop the land in accordance with the Urban Renewal <br />Plan; and <br />WHEREAS, the offer of $1,125.00 by Anderson Jones is satis- <br />factory and is not less than the offering price of the Commission <br />f (r uses in accordance with the Urban Renewal Plan, which offering <br />p ice was submitted to and approved by the Department of Housing <br />a d Urban Development. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION accepts <br />e offer of Anderson Jones to acquire at a price of $1,125.00 and <br />develop the designated Disposition Parcel 12 -9C which is known <br />d described as follows: <br />The South 34 feet of Lot 46 and Lots 47 and 48 in <br />the recorded Plat of LaSalle Park, a Subdivision in <br />the Northwest 1/4 of Section 10. Township 37 North, <br />Range 2 East, in the City of South Bend, Indiana. <br />A opted at a regular meeting of the South Bend Redevelopment Com- <br />m ssion held September 18, 1970 at the office of the Commission, <br />R om 1200 County -City Building, 227 West Jefferson Boulevard, South <br />Bind, Indiana 46601. <br />Attest: <br />e V.
