<br />Be It Resolved by the -Board of Public storks of the City of South Bend
<br />St. Joseph County, State of -Indiana, that it is desired and deemed necessary to
<br />4prove the first alley north *f Monroe. Street from Follows Street to Lincoln Way
<br />East as follows, towit s
<br />Said alley shall be graded and the roadway thereof shall
<br />be paved; ', and also the roadway of ' certain portions of the streets and alley which
<br />enter or intersect said street shall be graded and paved, The paving material to
<br />be used in ljaking said improvement shall be Portland cement Concrete seven (7)
<br />inches thick, sheet asphalt, bitulithic, asphat1do' concrete or brick and the fouaada
<br />tion shall be portland cement concrete five (5) inches thi k for the sheet asphalt,
<br />bitulit tie, Ashaltic concrete and brick, or rolled gravel six (Q inches thick for
<br />the brick, Q storm water inlets and conduit shall be constructed where necessary;
<br />all storm water:inlets.•.and manhole tops shall be set to the proper grade; cement
<br />marginal curb shall be ° eoftstructed at all street and alley intersect ions where
