RESOLUTION NO. 316 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ACCEPTANCE OF BID FOR LAND IN THE INDUSTRIAL EXPANSION PROJECT, IND. R -56 WHEREAS, South Bend Supply Company, Inc., 324 South St. Joseph Street, South Bend, Indiana, has submitted a written offer meeting the approved minimum price on isposition Parcel commonly referred to as Parcel No. 1 and Parcel No. 2, Indust ial Expansion Project, Ind. R -56; and WHERE S, the South Bend Redevelopment Commission has determined that the acceptance of this bid is in accordance with the approved disposal program for this area; and WHERE S, the offer of Seventy Six Thousand, Seven Hundred and Ninety - Three Doll rs and Seventy Four Cents ($76,793.74) for Parcel No. 1 and Fifty Three Thou and Four Hundred and Fifty Five Dollars and Ninety Nine Cents ($53,455.9)) for Parcel No. 2 by South Bend Supply Company, Inc. is satis- factory ani is not less than the offering price of the Commission for uses in accorda ce with the Urban Renewal Plan, which offering price was submitted to and app oved by the Department of Housing and Urban Development NOW, THEREFORE, THE SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION accepts the offer of South Bend Supply Company, Inc. to acquire at a price of One Hundred and Thirty Thousand Two Hundred and Forty Nine Dollars and Seventy Three Cents ($130,249.73) and redevelop the designated Disposition Parcels No. 1 and No. 2 which is known and described as follows: See Schedule B Attached, Adopted at the Regular Meeting of the South Bend Redevelopment Commission held Septe ber 18, 1970 at the office of the Commission, 1200 County -City Bldg., South Bend, Indiana.
