Alfred Detroit has been referred to me, and upon getting in communication with Mr. <br />Howard G. Kelley, President of the Grand Trunk Railway System, I am Informed that he <br />wIll not be able to attend the meeting to be held before the Department of Public Work <br />on April 29th. , <br />Under the circumstances, there would be no advantage gained by.my <br />attending the meeting in as much as any work that might be propaaed will have to be <br />approved by the Corporation, who would also be required to assume the expense incident <br />to any improvement. <br />Yours truly, <br />H .
