To facilitate on -site payroll printing, we will set up secure connectivity
between the jobsite and the payroll department in Brownsville. We use a variety of tools,
including Microsoft SharePoint, VPN access, and FTP sites, to securely share and collaborate
on proprietary project documents with third parties (e.g. owners, subcontractors, engineers,
etc.).
11.3 Field Support
In today's workplace, providing our field leadership with the necessary business technology is a
requirement. Additionally, the IT department makes sure that all job trailers are properly wired
and equipped for phone, fax and internet, and that all field managers are provided with Michels -
issued cell phones and laptops to keep them connected.
When necessary, the appropriate IT professional can travel to sites to work with local service
providers to ensure that our site office facilities are "live" prior to construction and in compliance
with any IT requirements in the project contract.
39
