Background Data <br />a. Effective Date of Owner -Engineer Agreement: December 3`d, 2018 <br />b. Owner: Ci of South Bend De artment of Public Works <br />C. Engineer: Epoch Architecture + Planning <br />d. Project: Technolo Resource Center , Catalyst 2 <br />2. Description of Modifications: <br />a. Engineer shall perform or furnish the following Additional Services: <br />1) Create varying wall thicknesses to create opportunities for varying paint colors, fry <br />reglet reveals to add interest/movement, and 10'-0" tall office store front systems <br />equally spaced to create a unique design. <br />2) Research moveable wall options at the Flex Space, presented options to the City, <br />and expressed cost and structural support concerns. The proposed option was to <br />enclose the Flex Space with an office storefront system. <br />3) Front of house open space change of occupancy from business to assembly to allow <br />public events, tables, presentations, and the SB code school classes. <br />4) Mechanical coordination to conceal HVAC duct drops into perimeter offices to <br />maintain design elements, and routing ducting through the existing structure to <br />accommodate acoustic baffles. <br />5) Floor plan changes during our December 21 st meeting.
