Section 4. Secretary. The Commissioners shall select one <br />of their own members to act as secretary, as hereinafter pro- <br />vided, who shall serve without compensation. He shall keep in <br />safe custody the seal of the Commission and shall have power to <br />affix such seal to all contracts and instruments authorized to <br />be executed by the Commission. <br />E.ection 4A. Assistant Secretary. The Commissioners shall <br />select an Assistant Secretary to perform the required duties of <br />the secretary in the absence of the secretary. <br />Section 5. Executive Director. The executive director <br />shall be the administrative head of the Commission, and as such, <br />shall have general supervision over the administration of its <br />business and affairs, subject to the direction of the Commission. <br />He shall be charged with the management of the affairs of the <br />Commission. He shall not be a Commissioner. <br />The executive director shall keep the records of the <br />Commission, shall act as executive secretary of the meetings of <br />the C mmission, and record all votes, and shall keep a record <br />of the proceedings of the Commission in a Minute Book to be kept <br />for such purpose, and shall perform all duties incident to his <br />office. <br />his <br />sala <br />sion <br />t ime t <br />rules <br />He shall give such bond for the faithful performance of <br />ies as the Statute or the Commission may designate. His <br />shall be fixed by the Commission. <br />ction 6. Additional Duties.
