BE IT RE <br />the City <br />RESOLUTION NO. 342 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND PROVIDING FOR THE EXECUTION OF <br />SECOND AMENDATORY CONTRACT AMENDING CONTRACT NO. IND. <br />R -56 (LG) BY AND BETWEEN THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, DEPART- <br />MENT OF REDEVELOPMENT AND THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA <br />LVED BY the South Bend Redevelopment Commission, Governing Body of <br />f South Bend, Department of Redevelopment, AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. The pending proposed Second Amendatory Contract (herein called the <br />"Amendatory Contract ") amending that certain Contract No. Ind. R -56 (LG), <br />dated Jul 31, 1968 by and between the City of South Bend, Department of Re- <br />developme t, (herein called the "Local Public Agency ") and the United States <br />of Americ (herein called the "Government "), is hereby in all respects approved. <br />Section 2. The President is hereby authorized and directed to execute said <br />Amendator Contract in two counterparts on behalf of the Local Public Agency, <br />and the S cretary is hereby authorized and directed to impress and attest <br />the official seal on each such counterpart and the Executive Director is <br />hereby authorized and directed to forward such counterparts to the Department <br />of Housinc and Urban Development, for execution on behalf of the Government <br />together vith such other documents relative to the approval and execution <br />of such counterparts as may be required by the Government. <br />Section 3.1 This resolution shall take effect immediately. <br />Section 4 <br />Commissioi <br />ment i n tl <br />on the 19 <br />Attest: <br />SEAL <br />Adopted at the Regular Meeting of the South Bend Redevelopment <br />Governing Body of the City of South Bend, Department of Redevelop - <br />eir office at 1200 County -City Building, 227 W.
