RESOLUTION NO. 355 <br />RESOLUTION OF THE SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION, GOVERNING BODY <br />OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, DEPARTMENT OF REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORIZING THE <br />EXECUTION OF THE REDEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT FOR THE DISPOSITION OF LAND AND <br />THE EXECUTION OF WARRANTY DEED(S) FOR THE TRANSFER OF TITLE THERETO IN <br />CONNECTION WITH LAND TO BE DISPOSED OF IN THE LASALLE PARK PROJECT, IND. <br />R -5 <br />WHEREAS, the City of South Bend, Department of Redevelopment is carrying out <br />the Urban Renewal for an area known as the LaSalle Park Project pursuant to the <br />Urban Renewal Plan for Project No. Ind. R -57 adopted by the Council of the City <br />of South Be d, Indiana by Resolution No. 127 -66 on the 24th day of January, 1966; <br />and <br />WHEREA , the Urban Renewal Plan calls for the sale for redevelopment by public <br />or private gencies of all acquired land in accordance with the provisions of said <br />plan; and <br />WHEREAS, the following redevelopers have submitted a proposal to redevelop <br />certain parcels within the LaSalle Park Project and that said proposal has <br />been processed in accordance with all applicable Statutes of the State of Indiana <br />and rules a d regulations and the Federal Statutes governing the sale of Urban <br />Renewal land with said parcels being: <br />ParcO Number <br />2 -10 <br />1 -10 <br />Name <br />Samuel Jamers;on <br />Lewis Williams <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the South Bend Redevelopment Commission, <br />Governing Body of the City of South Bend, Department of Redevelopment that the <br />Executive Director of the Department of Redevelopment is authorized to prepare <br />a Redevelopment Agreement and a Warranty Deed(s) for the purpose of conveying said <br />land to the proposed redeveloper; and <br />FURTHER, that the President of the South Bend Redevelopment Commission is <br />authorized o execute said Redevelopment Agreement and Warranty Deed(s) and that <br />the Secretary of the Commission is hereby authorized to attest said Agreement and <br />Deed(s). <br />Adopted at <br />April 16, <br />Bend, Indi <br />Attest: <br />SEAL <br />:he Regular Meeting of the South Bend Redevelopment Commission held on <br />71, in the Office of the Commission, 1200 County -City Building, South <br />a. <br />ams, Secretary <br />Dea Wilhelm, President <br />
