WHEREAS <br />approve <br />No. 14- <br />RESOLUTION N0. 361 <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ACCEPTANCE OF BID FOR LAND IN <br />THE LASALLE PARK PROJECT, IND. R -57 <br />Richard D. Thomas has submitted a written offer meeting the <br />minimum price on Disposition Parcel commonly referred to as <br />& 8, LaSalle Park Project, Indiana R -57; and <br />WHEREAS, the South Bend Redevelopment Commission has determined that the <br />accepta ce of this bid is in accordance with the approved disposal program <br />for thi area; and <br />WHEREAS, the Commission has determined that the redeveloper possesses the <br />qualifi ations and financial resources necessary to acquire and develop the <br />land in accordance with the Urban Renewal Plan; and <br />WHEREAS, the offer of $175.00 by Richard D. Thomas is satisfactory and is <br />not less than the offering price of the Commission for uses in accordance <br />with the Urban Renewal Plan, which offering price was submitted to and <br />approved by the Department of Housing and Urban Development. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION accepts the offer <br />of Richard D. Thomas to acquire at a price of $175.00 and redevelop the <br />designated Disposition Parcel 14 -7 & 8 which is known and described as <br />follows: <br />Parcel No. 14 -7 & 8 <br />Vacant Lot, South Camden St. <br />Adopted at a regular meeting of the South Bend Redevelopment Commission <br />held 21, 1971 at the office of the Commission, Room 1200 County -City <br />Buildink. 227 West Jefferson Boulevard, South Bend, Indiana 46601. <br />ATTEST: <br />llie V.
