RESOLUTION NO. 363 <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ACCEPTANCE OF BIDS FOR LAND <br />AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF REDEVELOPMENT <br />AGREEMENT(S) FOR DISPOSITION OF LAND AND EXECUTION <br />OF WARRANTY DEED(S) FOR THE TRANSFER OF TITLE <br />THERETO IN CONNECTION WITH LAND TO BE DISPOSED OF <br />IN THE LaSALLE PARK PROJECT, IND. R -57 <br />WHEREAS, Ocie Scott has submitted a written offer meeting the <br />approved minimum price on Disposition Parcel commonly referred to as <br />No. 6 -13 & 14, and Earlyne D. Poe has submitted a written offer meet- <br />ing the approved minimum price on Disposition Parcel commonly referred <br />to as No. 28 -51, in the LaSalle Park Project, IND. R -57; and <br />WHE EAS, the South Bend Redevelopment Commission has determined <br />that the acceptance of these bids are in accordance with the approved <br />disposal program for this area; and <br />WHE EAS, the Commission has determined that the redevelopers <br />possess he qualifications and financial resources necessary to <br />acquire and develop the land in accordance with the Urban Renewal <br />Plan; an <br />WHE EAS, the offer of $134.00 by Ocie Scott and the offer of <br />$107.00 y Earlyne D. Poe are satisfactory and not less than the <br />offering prices of the Commission for uses in accordance with the <br />Urban Re ewal Plan, which offering prices were submitted to and ap- <br />proved by the Department of Housing and Urban Development; and <br />WHE EAS, the Urban Renewal Plan for the area known as LaSalle <br />Park Project, IND. R -57, calls for the sale for redevelopment by <br />public or private agencies of all acquired land in accordance with <br />the prov'sions of said plan; and <br />WHEREAS, the following redevelopers have submitted proposals <br />to redevelop certain parcels within the LaSalle Park Project and that <br />said proposals have been processed in accordance with all applicable <br />Statutes of the State of Indiana and rules and regulations of the <br />Federal �"tatutes governing the sale of Urban Renewal land, which <br />I arcels re described as follows: <br />NOW <br />Commissi <br />$134.00 <br />and acce <br />$107.00 <br />Parcel Number <br />6 -13 & 14 <br />28 -51 <br />Name <br />Ocie Scott <br />Earlyne D. Poe <br />THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the South Bend Redevelopment <br />accepts the offer of Ocie Scott to acquire at a price of <br />d redevelop the designated Disposition Parcel 6 -13 & 14, <br />s the offer of Earlyne D. Poe to acquire at a price of <br />d redevelop the designated Disposition Parcel 28 -51. <br />
