RESOLUTION NO. 363 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ACCEPTANCE OF BIDS FOR LAND AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF REDEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT(S) FOR DISPOSITION OF LAND AND EXECUTION OF WARRANTY DEED(S) FOR THE TRANSFER OF TITLE THERETO IN CONNECTION WITH LAND TO BE DISPOSED OF IN THE LaSALLE PARK PROJECT, IND. R -57 WHEREAS, Ocie Scott has submitted a written offer meeting the approved minimum price on Disposition Parcel commonly referred to as No. 6 -13 & 14, and Earlyne D. Poe has submitted a written offer meet- ing the approved minimum price on Disposition Parcel commonly referred to as No. 28 -51, in the LaSalle Park Project, IND. R -57; and WHE EAS, the South Bend Redevelopment Commission has determined that the acceptance of these bids are in accordance with the approved disposal program for this area; and WHE EAS, the Commission has determined that the redevelopers possess he qualifications and financial resources necessary to acquire and develop the land in accordance with the Urban Renewal Plan; an WHE EAS, the offer of $134.00 by Ocie Scott and the offer of $107.00 y Earlyne D. Poe are satisfactory and not less than the offering prices of the Commission for uses in accordance with the Urban Re ewal Plan, which offering prices were submitted to and ap- proved by the Department of Housing and Urban Development; and WHE EAS, the Urban Renewal Plan for the area known as LaSalle Park Project, IND. R -57, calls for the sale for redevelopment by public or private agencies of all acquired land in accordance with the prov'sions of said plan; and WHEREAS, the following redevelopers have submitted proposals to redevelop certain parcels within the LaSalle Park Project and that said proposals have been processed in accordance with all applicable Statutes of the State of Indiana and rules and regulations of the Federal �"tatutes governing the sale of Urban Renewal land, which I arcels re described as follows: NOW Commissi $134.00 and acce $107.00 Parcel Number 6 -13 & 14 28 -51 Name Ocie Scott Earlyne D. Poe THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the South Bend Redevelopment accepts the offer of Ocie Scott to acquire at a price of d redevelop the designated Disposition Parcel 6 -13 & 14, s the offer of Earlyne D. Poe to acquire at a price of d redevelop the designated Disposition Parcel 28 -51.
