Thank you for your prompt
attention to this matter.
Sincerely,
Kevin Dreyer
President, Morris Entertainment, Inc.
Dennis J Andres
Executive Director, Morris Performing Arts
Center
Ms. Jones noted that she is involved in
another organization that had something to
do with this and she took a tour of the Morris
and not only does it not decrease the
rentability, it greatly increases it. Right now
they manually do the lift and it takes days to
set that up. Therefore, the days preceding a
performance that requires the lift are not
rentable. There are people who want to come
in for short performances and the Morris
misses many such opportunities to let the
facility. This should enhance and increase
the Morris's rentability.
Upon a motion by Mr. Varner, seconded by COMMISSION APPROVED AUTHORIZATION FOR
Mr. Alford and unanimously carried, the INSTALLATION OF ORCHESTRA PIT LIFT AT THE
Commission approved authorization for MORRIS PERFORMING ARTS CENTER.
installation of Orchestra Pit Lift at the Morris
Performing Arts Center.
7
