KAREEMAH FOWLER <br /> CITY CLERK.SOUTH BEND,IN <br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH <br /> BEND, INDIANA, APPROPRIATING ADDITIONAL FUNDS FOR CERTAIN <br /> DEPARTMENTAL AND ENTERPRISE OPERATIONS IN 2019 OF $200,000 <br /> FROM CONSOLIDATED BUILDING FUND (#600), $1,715,669 FROM WATER <br /> WORKS DEBT SERVICE (#625), AND ($600,000) FROM STORM SEWER FUND <br /> (#667). <br /> STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT <br /> The Common Council passed the City's 2019 operating and capital budgets in <br /> 2018 (Ordinance#10616-18 passed on October 8, 2018), which included expenditures for <br /> various City enterprise operations. It is now necessary to appropriate additional funds for <br /> operational expenditures necessary for the City to effect provision of services to its <br /> citizens which were not anticipated at the time the City budget was adopted. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of <br /> South Bend, Indiana, as follows: <br /> Section I. The following amounts are hereby appropriated in fiscal year 2019 and <br /> set apart within the following designated funds for operational expenses as follows: <br /> FUND Amount <br /> Consolidated Building Fund (#600) $200,000 <br /> Water Works Debt Service(#625) 1,715,669 <br /> Storm Sewer Fund (#667) (600,000) <br /> TOTAL $1,315,669 <br /> Section II.
