RESOLUTION NO. 388 RESO UTION OF THE SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION, GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, DEPARTMENT OF REDEVELOPMENT AUTHOR- IZIN3 THE EXECUTION OF THE REDEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT FOR THE DISPOSI- TION OF LAND AND THE EXECUTION OF WARRANTY DEED(S) FOR THE TRANSFER OF TITLE THERETO IN CONNECTION WITH LAND TO BE DISPOSED OF IN THE CENT AL DOWNTOWN AREA PROJECT, IND. R -66. WHEREAS, the City of South Bend, Department of Redevelopment is carrying out the Urban Renewal for an area known as the Central Downtown Area Project pursuant to the Urban Renewal Plan for Project Indiana R -66 adopted by the Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana by Resolution No. 193 -68 on the 10th day of September, 1968; and WHEREAS, the Urban Renewal Plan calls for the sale for redevelopment by public or private agen ies of all acquired land in accordance with the provisions of said plan; and WHEREAS, the following redeveloper(s) have submitted a proposal to redevelop certain parcels within the Central Downtown Area Project and that said proposal has been processed in accordance with all applicable Statutes of the State of Indiana and rules and regulations and the Federal Statutes governing the sale of Urban Renewal land with said parcels being: cel Number Name 3 -3A Tower Federal Savings & Loan Assn. (See legal description Schedule "A ") NOW, THEREF RE BE IT RESOLVED, by the South Bend Redevelopment Commission, Governing Body of the City of South Bend, Department of Redevelopment that the Executive Director of the Department of Redevelopment is authorized to prepare a Redevelopment Agreement a d a Warranty Deed(s) for the purpose of conveying said land to the proposed re eveloper; and FURTHER, th t the President of the South Bend Redevelopment Commission is authorized to execute aid Redevelopment Agreement and Warranty Deeds) and that the Secretary of the Commission is hereby authorized to attest said Agreement and Deed(s).
