0 0 <br />RESOLUTION NO. 428 <br />RESOLUTION OF THE SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION, GOVERNING <br />BODY OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, DEPARTMENT OF REDEVELOPMENT <br />AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF THE REDEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT FOR THE <br />DISPOSITION OF LAND AND THE EXECUTION OF WARRANTY DEED(S) FOR <br />THE TRANSFER OF TITLE THERETO IN CONNECTION WITH LAND TO BE <br />DISPOSED OF IN THE LASALLE PARK PROJECT, IND. R -57. <br />WHEREAS, the City of South Bend Department of Redevelopment is carrying out <br />the Urban Renewal for an area known as the LaSalle Park Project, pursuant to <br />the Urban Renewal Plan for Project No. Ind. R -57, adopted by the Council of the <br />City of South Bend, Indiana by Resolution No. 127 -66 on the 24th day of January, <br />1966; and <br />WHEREAS, the Urban Renewal Plan calls for the sale for redevelopment by public <br />or private agencies of all acquired land in accordance with the provisions of <br />said plan; and <br />WHEREAS, the following redevelopers have submitted a proposal to redevelop <br />certain parcels within the LaSalle Park Project and that said proposal has been <br />processed in accordance with all applicable Statutes of the State of Indiana and <br />rules and regulations and the Federal Statutes governing the sale of Urban Re- <br />newal land with said parcels being: <br />Parcel Number <br />Name Amount <br />12 -1 and <br />12 -42 Ervin L. Jones $272.00 <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the South Bend Redevelopment Commission, Governing <br />Body of the City of South Bend, Department of Redevelopment that the Executive <br />Director of the Department of Redevelopment is authorized to prepare a Redevelop- <br />ment Agreement and a Warranty Deed(s) for the purpose of conveying said land <br />to the proposed redeveloper; and <br />FURTHER, that the President of the South Bend Redevelopment Commission is auth- <br />orized to execute said Redevelopment Agreement and Warranty Deed(s) and that <br />the Secretary of the Commission is hereby authorized to attest said Agreement <br />and Deed(s). <br />Adopted at the Regular Meeting of the South Bend Redevelopment Commission held on <br />October 6, 1972 in the office of the Commission, Room 1200 County -City Building, <br />South Bend, Indiana. <br />CITY OF SOUTH BEND <br />DEPARTMENT OF REDEVELOPMENT <br />Fre H President <br />ATTEST: , <br />Rev.
