TO THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND: <br />Your Committee of the Whole, to whom was referred: <br />BILL NO. <br />5-05 A BILL OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, <br />AMENDING CHAPTER 9, ARTICLE 1, SECTION 2 OF THE SOUTH BEND <br />MUNICIPAL CODE, TO INCORPORATE THE 2000 EDITION OF THE <br />INTERNATIONAL FIRE CODE <br />Respectfully report that they have examined the matter and that in their opinion, this bill <br />is being recommended to the full Council with a favorable recommendation as <br />substituted as follows: <br />The substituted version will automatically incorporate the fire code used by the Building <br />Department and the most up to date fire code used by the State of Indiana, without the <br />need for future amendments to Chapter 9 of the South Bend Municipal Code. <br />Roland Kelly <br />Chairman <br />
