i RESOLUTION NO. 532 RESOLUTION OF THE SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION, GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, DEPARTMENT OF REDEVELOPMENT, AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF QUIT -CLAIM DEED FOR THE TRANSFER OF TITLE IN AND TO BE DISPOSED OF IN THE MERRY AVENUE PROJECT WHEREAS, the City of South Bend, Department of Redevelopment, is carrying out the Urban Renewal for an area known as the Merry Avenue Project pursuant to the Urban Renewal Plan for the Project, adopted by the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, by Resolution No. 315 -72 on the 24th day of July, 1972; and WHEREAS, the Department of Redevelopment en- tered into a contract dated September 29, 1972, with the City of South Bend to perform all the activities for the Merry Avenue Project and, WHEREAS, the Department has acquired title to the subject land and is required, pursuant to the terms of said contract, to transfer title of Merry Avenue land to the Economic Development Corporation and, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the South Bend Redevelopment Commission, Governing Body of the City of South Bend, Department of Redevelopment, that the Executive Director of the Department of Re- development is authorized to have prepared a Quit - Claim Deed for the purpose of conveying said land to the Economic Development Corporation and FURTHER, that the President of the South Bend Redevelopment Commission is authorized to execute said Quit -Claim Deed and that the Secretary of the Commission is hereby authorized to attest said Deed. Adopted at the Regular Meeting of the South Bend Redevelopment Commission, held on the 17th day of September, 1976, in the Office of the Commission, Room 1200, County -City Building, 227 West Jefferson Boulevard, South Bend, Indiana 46601.
